Located in the center of Missouri, the Discovery Ridge Research Park has approximately 127 certified acres, with an additional 198 adjacent available acres. The research park is an emerging research park development near the campus of Missouri’s top public research university and is destined to become a thriving environment of business and research activity due to its close proximity to the intellectual resources at the University of Missouri.
A certified site in Missouri requires the ground be mostly clear and level, be at least 25 acres, be intended for business use, have at least a six-inch water main, industrial capacity sanitary sewer, and three-phase 12 kilovolt electric infrastructure.
The Discovery Ridge site has the capacity for 150,000 gallons per day (GPD) water, and more than 500,000 GPD sewer treatment. Additionally, the site is served by 13.2 kilovolts of electricity, and a 6-inch gas main.
The site is just 0.5 miles from the 4-lane U.S. highway 63, and five miles from interstate highway 70. The Columbia Regional Airport is located less than eight miles away.
With its location in Columbia, a community of 120,000, easy access to the interstate, established utilities, close proximity to the University of Missouri, and the available talent attending and graduating, this shovel ready site is perfect for your next facility.
