Missouri Partnership announced today that Dennis Pruitt has been appointed as Vice President, Business Development.

This new role within Missouri Partnership is designed to enhance and expand the business development capabilities of Missouri Partnership, and to provide a new level of focus on building relationships and connections with corporate decision makers around the globe.

“Dennis is an incredible asset for Missouri, and his time with Missouri Partnership has always included an aspect of business development,” Subash Alias, CEO of Missouri Partnership, said. “This new enhanced focus will allow our organization to increase our pipeline of investment opportunities for Missouri, and increase the amount of companies, jobs and investment we are able to attract to our state.”

“I’m excited to be able to dedicate more time to business development,” Pruitt said. “And to continue to work creatively with my colleagues to identify new investment projects for both rural and urban Missouri.”

Pruitt will continue to have a level of involvement in active projects across all sectors. Some of his recent attraction wins have included Lacgene Technologies (India), Piva Group (Italy), Owens Corning (U.S.), KWS (Germany), CertainTeed/Saint Gobain (France), Motomco (Brazil), and Unisys (U.S.).

Pruitt joined Missouri Partnership in 2008, is a certified Economic Developer and a graduate of the Economic Development Institute. He holds a Master’s degree in urban planning from Texas A&M University, a Bachelor of Arts degree in history and French from Harding University, and a French language certificate from the Sorbonne. Dennis attended high school in Kuala Lumpur, Bangkok, and Iowa.
