All month long Missouri Partnership is taking a look back at 31 of Missouri’s biggest stories in economic development from the past year. Today we are taking a look at Pramata’s decision to open a Midwest office in Kansas City, Missouri.
On February 12, the San Fransico-based tech firm Pramata announced its plans to open a Midwest office in Kansas City’s Crossroads District. The expansion created 15 new high-paying jobs in the region.
“Kansas City offers a unique combination of a skilled talent pool along with a central location,” said Praful Saklani, founder and CEO of Pramata. “It’s the ideal place to anchor our U.S. expansion and a fantastic base from which to serve our customers. We’re looking forward to being a member of and contributor to the local community.”
Home to one of the first Google fiber projects in the nation, Kansas City’s tech scene continues to attract businesses of all sizes.
