Kansas City Breweries Co. announced plans to build a new, large-scale brewing and beverage manufacturing complex in Kansas City, Missouri. The new plant will have capacity to produce 100,000 barrels of beer annually, with additional capability for bottling private-label sports energy drinks, sodas, ciders and juice products.
The facility represents more than $10 million in investment and is expected to create up to 150 new jobs when completed. Missouri is home to 130+ wineries, 80+ breweries, 20+ distilleries and the world-famous Budweiser family of beers.
In fact, you could say Missouri’s brewing industry has entered a new golden age.
