Video Game Company Finds Talent, Growth in St. Louis, Missouri

EnchantedMob, a video game animation company, recently announced plans to grow in St. Louis, Missouri.

The move, which will see EnchantedMob expand into a space 10 times larger than the one it previously occupied, comes as the company is experiencing a surge in growth since launching the latest iteration of its popular horror video game Poppy Playtime. The company doubled the number of employees to 20 in recent months with plans to bring on an additional 20 in the coming year.

“There’s a ton of creative people in St. Louis,” said Drake Vogl, Director of Operations at EnchantedMob. “You don’t have to be in L.A. or New York to make content that you care about.”

Missouri’s tech workforce has seen tremendous growth in recent years. Between 2018 and 2023, the state’s tech workforce is expected to grow by 9.5%, ranking it ninth among all U.S. states. Missouri was recently highlighted among the six hot emerging tech hubs for tech job seekers by CIO. The state is also in the top 10 in the U.S. for women in tech.

Additionally, Missouri’s competitive cost of living and vibrant culture enables employers to provide employees with a high quality of life at a lower cost than almost anywhere in the U.S. This combination of highly-skilled talent and a world-class quality of life has positioned Missouri as a leader in attracting new tech companies to the region.
