Altec Industries, a provider of products and services to the electric utility, telecommunications, tree care, lights and signs, and contractor markets, announced plans to expand near St. Joseph, Missouri. The expansion is expected to take place over the next three years and will add 105 new jobs to the region.
“These are exciting times as we invest back into the community,” the company stated in a press release.
“Our goal is to be good stewards in all communities in which we live and work. It is this type of cooperation that allows us to keep growing our facility in St. Joseph,” said Colby Edwards, director of manufacturing at the St. Joseph facility.
Altec Industries is expected to invest a significant amount of capital in personal property improvements, manufacturing and non-manufacturing machinery and equipment, as well as real property improvements.
